I am seeking answers to my dilema....looking for answers to identify what's wrong with my friend. He claims to be hearing people taking in his head and claims he is been manipulated by some people that are communicating thru him in his head...he claims he is telepathy and telekenisis....and have psyche ability....he has mood changes and always taking to himself secretly as he does not want anybody to think he is crazy. I am confused of his personality. He seems to have a mixture of characters...can somebody explain???

In all probability, your friend is suffering from a serious mental illness that runs in the psychotic range. What he is telling you is that he is hearing voices and these are referred to a auditory hallucinations. His way of thinking about and explaining these voices, including his belief in his powers, are called delusions. He really needs psychiatric treatment so that he can become better oriented towards reality. I know this is not good news. However, based on the little you have described, this is a likely explanation.

hello beary, I am glad you are concerned for your friend. One thing I can say without a doubt. Don't try to convince him the voices are not real or he isn't seeing what he says he is seeing. Because they are real to him. All you can do is offer your support and perhaps help him find professional help.

From experience I can tell you the most scary thing of all is asking for help. If only I had someone close to me help me ask for help, I would be in heaven. The hardest part is going through this alone and he sounds like one lucky guy to have you in his corner.
