Help with avatar

Can I get one of you computer wonks to help me upload a custom avatar? It's a jpg picture 4 KB in size. I get an error message saying I need a security code...Whaaat?

The limits for the avatar picture say "80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)." If your dimensions are smaller than that, I have no clue. Mine worked fine, although I only tried the "Browse" option.

Finally, a REAL problem:)

At what point specifically does the error message pop up? Could you list all of the steps you go through before getting stuck? Is there possibly a firewall issue, such as trying to upload an image at work?
