Well the original idea for "demented bunny" came from my 18 year old daughter. When she got the results of her exams she was so pleased and I was describing how she bounced around the house like a "demented bunny".
I do believe some of the bunnys along with their fun side have a developed an eccentric and somewhat weird side to them;)
