Dear Moderators/Administrator,
"Skysoldier" seems to have untiringly posted ads again, but this time on other 3 forums: "General Support", "Eating Disorders" and "Aging". Could you check out them, please?

Can someone please explain to me, what is Spam/Spamming?
Even though my son is a moderator of a community forum, I have never thought to ask him what spam is?
Spam occurs when someone tries to slip in a link to something they're selling in a post or email. The post has no purpose other than to try to sell you something, even though they try to hide that fact usually (and usually quite lamely). The term comes from the potted meat product SPAM (http://www.spam.com/), but I'm not sure of how that term came to have the secondary meaning.

I looked in that forum and saw that skysoldier posted but there were no spam links in it that I could see. But spam or no spam, if skysoldier is banned, I would think that he/she should be unable to post at all. :confused: Hopefully, Mark can check into this.
