AND when I clicked submit I said I wasn't logged in and I lost everything! I needed to be logged in to be able to make a new thread. Is there somekind of timeout period on writing a new thread?! Very frustrating and I haven't got the heart left to write everything again :(
The timeout period is the duration of a php session; about 24 minutes. If you plan on composing something, the best thing is to compose it in a text editor like notetab lite (http://www.notetab.com/) and then copy/paste your composition into the forum. Why a text editor instead of a word processor? because text editors don't inject any garbage formating codes into the post - just the text you've written.
Anyway - sorry about this lost commment. It's no fun when that happens.

Well thank you for your answers. I was just frustrated yesterday but it is nice to get a thoughtful response.

Twosocks, i guess this forum or other forums out there have runtime on them. to make sure they can't experience security issues on the site. So I suggest the you write first on a text editor then when your ready to post it then that's the time you submit it.
